As a logistics and quality agent, you’ll work in the procurement department. You’ll have a number of administrative tasks and be called upon to help the team with their day-to-day work. Here’s what a typical day in the life of a logistics and quality agent might look like…

  • Identify and request transportation of shipments when delivered in Canada.
  • Check the quality of supplier materials as soon as they arrive in stock
  • Perform QA checks on non-technological parts (IG, beacon, injector, antenna)
  • Manage the Kaban inventory system, ensuring that inventory levels correspond to actual needs, responding to requests from production, updating inventory, managing min-max, creating maps, negative adjustments in Dynamics, creating parts.)
  • Perform cyclical inventory counts (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual)
  • Post and place finished products
  • Check and post parts to Assembly Order and verify shipments with quality assurance level
  • Monitor borrowing and lending of parts to customers or internally, and make adjustments in Dynamics
  • Manage RMAs and RNCs, create a Jira task, follow up with buyer and supplier on returns, create a Return Sales Order, ship and verify on return
  • Picking for production
  • Picking for engineering
  • Update procedures; parts assembly, simplified shipping, RMA and RNC, Kaban system, etc.
  • Participate in annual inventory count cycles
  • Verify physical inventory to maintain stock levels or alert management if stock is at a critical level

This is a temporary contract for 1 year, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
