Partnership

Several partners are associated with this project given that Haute-Mauricie is lagging far behind in terms of basic telecommunications infrastructure. The governments have confirmed significant financial support for the realization of this project through a federal program “Connect to Innovate” and a provincial program “Quebec Branché”. Both programs invest in the deployment of internet services in rural communities that are currently underserved and that have been identified by governments.

Other major partners include the Commission Scolaire de l’Énergie and the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS), which will be able to benefit from this new technology in schools and hospitals in the region, as well as from other public institutions such as municipal offices, libraries and fire stations.

Thanks to a major collaboration with Rogers, Ambra Solutions will be able to use the frequencies of the telecommunications giant to be able to complete this major achievement.
