Founded in 2009 under the name Ecotel, the company renamed Ambra Telecom in 2026 is a Canadian cellular operator registered with the ITU and the CRTC, deploying robust infrastructure to cover remote areas and automate the processes of several industrial customers. Since 2017, Ambra Telecom has notably deployed the Haute-Mauricie LTE project, which consisted in deploying high-speed wireless Internet services in rural communities that currently have no access to high-speed technology or LTE service. Ambra Telecom has also deployed the cellular network in Haute-Mauricie to communities that still did not have access to the cellular network. The project is almost complete, but the construction of two new towers will be finished in 2026.
