Ambra Solutions' sister companies are uniting under a single flagship brand—Ambra.
Our companies have evolved in ways that are entirely complementary, making it natural to bring them all together under one umbrella. Ecotel is therefore becoming Ambra Telecom, and Lyko is becoming Ambra Energy.
Ambra and its companies at a glance
Ambra Technologies
A division closely linked to Ambra Solutions’ operations dedicated to the research and development of technological and software solutions. Ambra Tech optimizes existing solutions and devices while developing configurations and software designed to make operations in harsh industrial environments safer, more efficient, and more secure.
Ambra Telecom
Founded in 2009 by Éric L’Heureux (founder of Ambra Solutions) under the name Ecotel, Ambra Telecom is a Canadian cellular operator registered with the ITU and the CRTC, specializing in connectivity in remote regions. Since 2017, Ambra Telecom has notably completed the Haute-Mauricie LTE project, which involved deploying high-speed wireless internet via LTE in Haute-Mauricie. The company has also deployed the cellular network in Haute-Mauricie in communities that previously had no access to it. The project is nearly complete, but construction of two new towers will be finished in 2026.
Ambra Energy
Founded in 2012 under the name Lyko, the company designs and manufactures autonomous power supply systems that operate independently of traditional grids and are built to withstand the harshest environments. Having already integrated the products into its deployments, Ambra had the opportunity to acquire the company in 2023, which has since been evolving with the Ambra family.
“Ambra has always been, first and foremost, about teamwork – passionate people driven by a vision: connecting the world and our world. Over the years, new companies have joined the Ambra family, enabling us to offer increasingly reliable and innovative integrated solutions to our clients worldwide.”
